The Montana State University Economics Program



Real estate broker Paul Kerley has worked in rental real estate since the early 1980s in the area of Salem, Oregon. Before moving to Oregon to work for a law degree at Willamette Law School, Paul Kerley earned a degree in economics at Montana State University.

Offered through the College of Letters and Sciences. the economics program at Montana State exposes students to behavioral economics, public policy, and economic development. Kerley River Road Acquires Multiple Keizer Properties



An experienced leader in the Salem, Oregon real estate market, Paul Kerley has owned and served as president of Commercial Property Resources, Inc., since 1983. During this time Paul Kerley has established a real estate portfolio consisting of 1,800 residential units in and around Salem, Oregon.

In 2020, Mr. Kerley made a pair of residential property acquisitions in Keizer. Operating through the Kerley River Road, LLC, single entity and represented by principal broker Gabe Johansen of SMI Commercial Real Estate, LLC, Kerley River Road acquired both River Road Apartments, located at 4133-4143 River Road North, and River Crest Apartments, at 127-177 Sunset Avenue North. The acquisitions yield a combined 17 new residential units for the buyer in the Keizer area, including a mix of one bedroom, one bath units and two bedroom, one bath properties. The River Road location also features a 1,700-square-foot office building.

Tyce Nelson of Nelson Commercial Real Estate, LLC, represented the seller in both transactions, which were completed for $1.05 million in cash.
